Hello and welcome to Episode 20 in our series, “In the Heart of God.” Today’s presentation from Apostle Charles G. Wright is entitled, “What Men Need.” Apostle Charles will discuss the need for men to be: touched by God, synchronize or walk in step with God; and the importance of a man being in order with God. Thank you for joining us today. My name is Stephanie Wright, let’s join Apostle Charles for today’s presentation, “What Men Need.”
Thank you, Stephanie. First, we all have needs-men and women. We have NEEDS because of the absence of what we NEED. In other words, we have NEEDS because we know the feeling of what is absent from our lives.
What may be absent in the lives of MEN is needed—God’s TOUCH. Being alive in a SYNCHRONIZED FELLOWSHIP with God and God’s ORDER are NEEDED in the lives of MEN and everyone who names the NAME of Christ.
One of our NEEDS, which may be absent, is to experience God’s TOUCH. Men of God WANT God’s TOUCH First. That’s because we know that God is preeminent. Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek the Kingdom of God (first), and God will add other things we may WANT will be added to us. So, we get what we NEED from God’s Heart. And we get what we WANT from the Heart of God.
David is an excellent Biblical example of a young and mature man who NEEDED God’s TOUCH of faithfulness and always remained in TOUCH with God’s Heart. David wrote many Psalms and prayers. There is no doubt that God’s scriptures influenced David’s need to be TOUCHED. And his written testaments and association with God’s Prophet Samuel helped KEEP David in TOUCH with God’s Heart. We may not always be aware of some of our Needs and Wants, but God knows what we NEED and WANT. You have heard that birds of a feather flock together? And I do not think that the created birds knew the NEED to fly to be in SYNCHED with the ORDER of nature. IN what other venues can a man be TOUCHED? Not only having fellowship with God’s leaders and congregation but personal fellowship with God’s WORD alone by studying God’s Word.
We know David was TOUCHED to remain in SYNCH with God’s Heart. David always and personally gave God WORSHIP-PRAISE and GLORY after overcoming and defeating his enemies. We also know that David did not have a baptism in the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit was upon him to be led by God’s Heart. So, to be TOUCHED, we must remain in SYNCH with God’s WORD and God’s chosen people and the Holy Spirit. We can be like David and defeat AND overcome our enemies. And sometimes, the Holy Spirit will prophesy through us like with David. When faced with a “Goliath,” David proclaimed that he would fight with his enemy in the NAME of the LORD. He added that he would dismember the governing head of Goliath. I believe God prophesied through David because David was TOUCHED and in SYNCH with God’s Heart.
Review 1st Samuel 17:46.
So we see that men NEED to be in SYNCH because we are TOUCHED to be within God’s Heart. In other words, men NEED to change and “conform” to a unified companionship and fellowship with God’s Heart. God’s Heartfelt TOUCH will be a bridge leading to being in SYNCH with God.
Remember, Emmanuel means “God with us.” And how can two walk together unless they walk in a lockstep agreement? In other words, we become SYNCHRONIZED with How, Where, and When, God’s Heart leads us to His destinies of victories for us. Don’t you WANT to win?
God will reveal to us that we NEED to be in His marching Army. Remember, promotion comes from God. Review Psalm 75:6-7. We win if we listen to God’s directions and commands from the Holy Spirit’s Words. God has chosen Generals like Samuel, Esther, and Deborah. Each of God’s chosen will pursue God’s Heart to be a winner and overcomer. 1 Peter 1:5 reminds us, with every effort, to add or build our Faith in what we hear from God’s Heart. Jude 1:20 reminds us to build up ourselves on our most Holy Faith.
I believe this is what God’s Generals NEED as we accomplish His work in us. These activities undoubtedly lead to a “Promotion” that exemplifies growth and maturity in God’s TOUCH, SYNCHRONIZATION, and Godly ORDER.
There is always the NEED to actively TOUCH, SYNCHRONIZE and be in ORDER with God’s Heart through PRAYERS and FASTINGS. Remember, many things in life are not affected unless we PRAY, and prayer is an ORDER by God. Only God would URGE his warriors to Pray to Him for His interventions. Jesus told His disciples how to pray, and that prayer alone will not remove some of our enemies. In Mark 9:29, Jesus stated, “This kind can come forth by nothing but by prayer and fasting.”
Only God will ORDER Fasting and Prayers to Him for others as a more vital bridge built from being in TOUCH and in SYNCH with God’s Heartfelt ORDERS.
STEPHANIE, do you want to add anything to today’s presentation?
STEPHANIE: Thank you, Apostle Charles.
Your presentation gives us a lot to think about. I especially liked hearing that, “God knows what we need and what we want.” He is always ready to provide. He is our Jehovah-jireh. I have a brief comment on your three-part presentation: touched by God, synchronized with God, and being in order with God. The wonderful thing about God is that He will touch us through His Holy Spirit when we don’t deserve it. It reminds me of how David said in Psalm 51:11, “Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me.” He loves us so much and is so merciful that if we don’t walk in lockstep with Him or are not synchronized, He will be patient with us until we do come around. But when we do acknowledge His touch, are synchronized in our walk with Him, and are in order with Him, we will fulfill our Kingdom purpose.
Thus, our prayer for our listeners is that you will seek daily to feel God’s loving touch as you listen for His instruction through the Holy Spirit; that you will learn to be synchronized or walk with Him when He says walk; that you will let Him be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path; and that you will always be in order as he gives you instructions on how to live a life of peace and abundance even though you are in spiritual warfare. God bless you until next time.
